Sheikh-Lofollah Mosque: Outside to inside [1]

Sheikh-Lotfollah is a small mosque in the Naqsh-e-Jahan grand square in Isfahan. It's like a prayers room. However the architecture of the mosque is extraordinary. The colors and the proportions of the mosque, specially the proportions of the dome are unique. I'll post a series of pictures showing the rout from outside of the mosque to inside. Posted by Picasa

This is a "small" mosque? I can't wait to see a "large" mosque. The dome looks incredible. A lot of mosiac tiling. Look forward to seeing closer photos of workmanship and attention to detail in this mosque.

Yes this mosque is physically small. There's no for example minaret, internal court, ...; the bodies that the bigger mosques have. There's only one room under it's elegant dome.
