Another shot; same mystery, same beautiful tree, different angle. Wish the yellow light was a little milder or repeated in the middle of the scene but I was afraid of loosing the second because the fog was moving, rather dancing, very fast; so it came out like this.

I had the opportunity to be in Massouleh (ماسوله) three nights in two trips. The second time I enjoyed the mysterious early morning fog in the valley.

On the way to the forgotten city

I had the opportunity to visit Gaskar, a city in Gilan. Gaskar was an important city in north of Alborz mountains from about 1000 A.D. to 1600 as far as we know. Archaeologists believe that people left Gaskar after an epidemic disease and after that the city was destructed by an earthquake.
Today Gaskar is an archaeological site 2 kilometers deep in the woods.

This sad sky, In Memory of Parviz Meshkatian

Today Parviz Meshkatian, a great songwriter, artist, and compser passed away in the age of 54. He was one of my favorite artists and I feel very sad now after hearing about the news. I do believe that he has made several all time memorable masterpieces.
