A dialogue

Mr. Chinisaz enthusiastically explaining what he has seen in the tunnels of Shushtar to my colleague. Mr. Chinisaz knows the Watermills millimeter by millimeter. I wish to see him again in the next workshop for Understanding Architecture.

The story of Sufi, Stone, and Water

A stone-cut tomb which is attributed to the mother of Sahl-ibn Abdollah Tostari, a great Sufi and Sheikh in 10th AD.
A clever stepped circle is seen next to the tomb which can persumably be part of a beautiful pool next to the sacred place.

Eshkaft-e Salman, Izeh

The Elamite reilief in Eshkaft-e Salman (Izeh) which was ordered by King Hani of Ayapir is one of the first instances in which both the female and male persons are equal in size and importance. I have also included a Farsi translation, although not a faithful one, of the inscription of the relief.

Dandelion (Qassedak)

Kheyrabad Madrassa

Again Kheyabad Madrassa in South-East of Bahbahan.
I made a funny mistake in calling this school "Haji-Abad" in my previous post showing its corner stairs. A dear friend noticed me and I decided to post more pictures of Kheyrabad Madrassa (aka Kheyrabad Qal'a Madrassa and Kheyrabad Caravansaray). I do apologize for the mistake.

Call of eternity
